First-to-market and local retailers a focus for mixed-use town center near Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH, July 8, 2019—Easton Town Center, a mixed-use complex northeast of Columbus co-developed by The Georgetown Company, L Brands and Steiner + Associates, announced five new retailers coming to the town center’s $500 million expansion, including Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce Café & Speakeasy, Arhaus Furniture, Pins Mechanical Co., The Beeline, Forbidden Root Brewing Co. and Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea. Anne Mastin, Executive Vice President of Retail Real Estate for Steiner + Associates, made the announcement.

“Easton is evolving to meet the needs and demands of today’s consumers,” said Mastin. “The new expansion will offer more of an urban neighborhood look and feel with some of the finest sourced local and national concepts on the market. While Easton Town Center is celebrating 20 years in business this year, we are already focused on the next 20, and how we will continue to deliver a live, work and play experience unlike anything else in the region.”

Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuce, the legendary concept from famed nightlife innovator Ivan Kane, is both a Café and a Speakeasy, a destination dining and entertainment experience straight from Hollywood, Las Vegas and Atlantic City that’s sure to introduce a new standard for nightlife and entertainment to the region. On the ground floor of Forty Deuce is a traditional New York east side Café, serving decadent burgers and delicious desserts to patrons watching a game from one of the booths or just hanging at the bar listening to music on the juke or the piano player in the corner. Upstairs in the hidden Speakeasy, Forty Deuce serves specialty cocktails, live music, DJs, dancing and of course world-famous burlesque. Kane’s clubs are famous for their high- profile clientele and celebrity investors and Ivan Kane Enterprises is proud to launch its mid-West flagship with a first-to-market location at Easton Town Center.

Ohio-based Arhaus Furniture was founded in 1986 with a passion to provide unique, high quality, and well-designed home furnishings and décor. Product developers travel the globe working directly with skilled artisans to craft items that can only be found at Arhaus,

ensuring that every piece meets the brand’s high quality of standards. The 17,500-square-foot Easton store will introduce a new store format to the Columbus market encouraging customers to come in store and get inspired.

Pins Mechanical Co. is another Ohio-based retailer new to the Easton Town Center expansion. The old school bar and entertainment complex features over 30,000 square feet of bowling, foosball, pinball, duckpin, ping pong and patio pong. Quickly expanding, Pins Mechanical Co. is already open at Easton, with other locations in Dublin, Oh., Cincinnati, Charlotte, NC., Nashville, Tenn. and Indianapolis.

The Beeline is a 3,000-square-foot bar backed by the largest bar and restaurant operators in Columbus, Four Entertainment Group (4EG). The bar will offer guests a wide selection of beer, wine, and high-quality craft cocktails made with local ingredients. A significant portion of The Beeline’s square footage is dedicated to outdoor entertainment, including yard games like Giant Jenga and cornhole, and an outdoor projection screen to broadcast sporting events and movies under the stars.

Forbidden Root Brewing Co. is a Chicago-based microbrewery that focuses on beers often made with botanical ingredients and creative gastropub plates. The 12,000-square-foot restaurant and brewery located in Easton’s expansion is the brand’s first location outside of Chicago.

Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea is a leading Columbus-based coffee roaster that uses sustainably sourced specialty and craft coffee in small batches. Their newest establishment within the Easton expansion, “Crimson,” includes the Brew Bar, featuring coffee innovations like Nitro cold brewed coffee on-tap, and coffee cocktail creations infused with lavender and cane sugar. Their coffee can be found in over 300 locations across the country, with three current brick-and-mortar locations in Ohio.

These six new retailers are fitting additions to Easton’s enormous expansion, joining RH Columbus, The Gallery at Easton Town Center, a 136-room Aloft Hotel from Marriott, and healthy, chef-driven seasonal food restaurant, True Food Kitchen.

The Easton Town Center expansion will have 140,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant space, 125,000 square feet of new office space now under construction and 750 new residential units, all set to open in late 2019 and early 2020. For more information, visit
